Who's going to bail me out of jail for murder?

I'm seriously about ready to go next door and rip the manly parts off of the construction workers that are tearing out the neighbors driveway. Don't they know I have a tired baby over here that wakes up every freaking time they throw another giant chunk of concrete into the trash bin?

GRRRR!!! Nobody asked me if it was a convenient time to do this...NO IT'S NOT!!

Maybe I'll just take the overtired, crabby baby over to them and they can figure out how to keep her from screaming her pretty little head off!!

That sucks. Hopefully they will be done soon.

Well, do *they* start at 8:00 am??

My neighbor just had his driveway re-paved so there were jackhammers jackhammering away at 8:01 on Saturday morning. We have a "noise-ordinance" in town, so they are not supposed to start until 9:00. GRRR. Yes. I was the "crazy-neighbor-lady" in my robe & slippers standing on my front porch yelling at them "I have a 7 month old SLEEPING in here!! Knock that shit off!!!"

Could you maybe go out while the demo is in progress? Does she sleep in the car/stroller??

When they repaved our road a while back the whole house shook. The boys were FREAKING out.....they thought the end of the world was at hand!!! TOOO funny!!!

Sorry about the naptime interuptions, you should just bring Ella up here, it's been pretty quiet lately

As the mother of four kids, I've had to deal with trying to keep loud children quiet, and sleeping babies sleeping. The amazing difference is that my first child would wake up if a fly farted, while my fourth child could sleep through a tornado - more kids = more noise. The more noise they hear on a regular basis, the more likely it is that they will continue to sleep through it. I recommend keeping on a radio or t.v. while they sleep so they get used to the noise.

I completely understand your frustration. Last week, my neighbors were having a tree cut down at 9:30am - the exact time when my daughter goes down for a nap.

Since having Porgie, I have been very cautious about making noise on residental streets. You will NEVER hear me honking my horn - what if a baby is sleepng?
